While it may be an unfamiliar term, all nonprofits need a business plan!  A business plan lays out all of the critical elements of a sustainable operation including programs and services, marketing costs and rates, revenue and expense.

A healthy nonprofit organization is always working in the context of a long-range financial plan.  Such a plan sets goals for growth, reviews basic assumptions about costs, and establishes the financial patterns necessary to accomplish the mission.

A business plan looks at the balance of earned revenue and unearned revenue, calculates critical metrics that are essential to effective management, and sets up the systems you need to achieve your financial goals.

We assist in the determination of the critical metrics, and help in setting up a dashboard to monitor progress.

We also work with you to  establish your five year financial plan in the context of your mission, and create the tools you need to manage it.
